New Support Group for Stroke Survivors, Family & Caregivers

A new support group is being formed in Portage County for stroke survivors.
The “Surviving Stroke Together” Portage County Area Stroke Support Group will hold its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, January 22nd, 3:00 PM, in the Garden Room of Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital, 900 Illinois Avenue, Stevens Point. The Garden Room is directly adjacent to the Archangel Café…look for directional signs from the lobby.
This meeting is open to all stroke survivors, their family members, friends and/or caregivers. The group will meet every other month
initially (January, March, May, July, September, November), the fourth Tuesday of the month, 3:00 PM in the Garden Room. The first meeting will be social in nature, with future programming discussed and decided by the participants.
