State Assembly Rep. Shankland Sounds Off on Skyward

Representative Katrina Shankland (D-Stevens Point)
For the City-Times
Skyward has announced that it will challenge the decision by the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) to select a Minnesota-based firm, Infinite Campus, Inc. as the Statewide Student Information System (SSIS) provider. In a statement, Skyward stated that the evaluation process followed by the DOA was flawed, and that eleventh-hour modifications to the process clearly favored Infinite Campus and disadvantaged Skyward. In response, Rep. Shankland released the following statement:
“The SSIS procurement, evaluation, and selection process has raised concerns since day one. I call on Governor Walker and the DOA to add transparency to the process by explaining whether any changes were made, what these changes were, and specifically why Infinite Campus was chosen. Skyward and Central Wisconsin deserve answers.
“I support Skyward as they challenge DOA’s flawed decision and I implore Governor Walker and his administration to conduct a thorough review that could result in keeping these jobs in Wisconsin.”
