CDA Seeks Proposals for Centerpoint Lots

The CDA seeks purchase and redevelopment proposals from experienced developers with the financial capability to carry out the redevelopment plan proposed.

The Community Development Authority (CDA) leases the property located at 1101 Centerpoint Drive (the Property) and seeks proposals for the sublease/purchase and redevelopment/remodel of the Property. The current lease on the Property runs until 2026, at which time the deed for the Property will transfer to the CDA from the current owner of the Property. The Property is located on the northern edge of Downtown Stevens Point, and is within walking distance to large parks, a farmer’s market, and several area shops/businesses. Currently, the Property is home to a 15 year old, 22,626 (approximate) single story building that was a former Stage department store and Dunham’s Sports store. This building was once connected to the former CenterPoint Mall, which has since been demolished.

The CDA seeks the sublease/purchase and remodel/redevelopment proposals from experienced developers with the financial capability to carry out the redevelopment plan proposed.

Currently, the Property is has a asphalt parking lot on it, which serviced the former CenterPoint Mall, which has since been demolished.
