SPASH Students Sign Letters of Intent

Three Stevens Point Area Senior High School Seniors signed Athletic Letters of Intent to attend college in the fall and participate in athletics Wednesday, April 17th in the SPASH South Commons.
Sarah Peplinski is the Goalie for the SPASH Girls Soccer Team. She also competed with the Point-Rapids Red Panthers Girls Ice Hockey team. Sarah will attend San Jose State University in San Jose, California where she will play Soccer for the Spartans, a NCAA Division I member of the Western Athletic Conference. Sarah was the 2012 First Team All Wisconsin Valley Conference Goalie leading the Panther Girls Soccer Team to a Conference Championship with a 11-1 Record. She posted a 0.67 Goals Against Average(GAA).
Michael Larson is a member of the SPASH Cross Country and Track teams. Michael will attend Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He will run Cross Country and Track for the Flyers, a Division II member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Larson led the SPASH Boys Cross Country Team to the Wisconsin Valley Conference 2012 Cross Country Championship with a time of 16:19.8. and finished Thirteenth at the WIAA State Cross Country Meet with a time of 15:59.36.
Nicki Hauser is a member of the SPASH Volleyball, Girls Basketball, and Softball teams. Nicki will attend Southern Connecticutt State University in New Haven where she will compete on the Volleyball and Softball teams for the Owls, Division II members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Nicki was a 2012 Second Team All Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Basketball selection, First Team Volleyball, and First Team Softball selection as an Infielder for the Panthers. She posted a .587% On Base percentage and a Batting Average of .548 with 17 Runs Batted In(RBI), 23 hits and 12 runs scored in 47 Plate Appearances in Wisconsin Valley Conference play.
