School District Looking to Fill Zellmer Vacancy

The Stevens Point Area Public School District School Board is accepting applications to fulfill the school board vacancy of School Board Member John Zellmer, who resigned effective March 12, 2013.
The length of the board appointment runs through the 2014 spring election.
The appointment is open to any citizen of the Stevens Point Area Public School District who is 18 years or older. Those interested in being considered for this position on the school board may pick up a School Board Member Application form and a Declaration of Candidacy by an Elector form at the Bliss Educational Services Center, 1900 Polk Street in Stevens Point.

Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 6. The vacancy will be filled during the regular school board meeting on May 13 at 6:30 PM.
