Diana C. Shuda, 59

Diana C. Shuda. age 59 of Stevens Point, passed away Sunday morning June 2, 2013 at her home after a courageous battle with her health, under the care of Ministry Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Diana will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Alan Burkhardt will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.
A general rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:15 AM at the church. A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established in her name. Diana was born November 12, 1953 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of Sandra Rhudy and James DuPree.
As a child she moved with her family to different cities including the Stevens Point Area. She returned to Stevens Point to attend UWSP, and graduated with a B.S. degree in theater arts. She married Joseph Shuda on November 14, 1986 at St. Joseph Parish. Diana worked as a travel agent for various firms until she began her career at Copps as a pharmacy technician, where she has been the past 14 years. She was a dog and cat lover, enjoyed going to the movies, reading, and liked to travel.
Diana is survived by her husband Joseph. Her sister Pamela (Jerry) Bentley, Florida; Step-mother Sheila DuPree, WI Rapids; two step-sisters: Brenda (Eugene) Weyer, Sun Praire; Lynn DuPree (David Staffford), Sun Praire. One step-brother: Keith (Lisa) DuPree, Wausau, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
