Shankland to Hold “Green” Office Hours
For the City-Times
Representative Katrina Shankland (D–Stevens Point) is holding her second “Green Government Office Hours” on Monday, July 1. The Green Government Office Hours are a series of summer office hours that focus on the sustainability community in the 71 Assembly District. The first of the series was held on the Green Circle Trail, from Pfiffner Pioneer Park to Schmeeckle Reserve.
Rep. Shankland will hold office hours at the Midwest Renewable Energy Association’s (MREA) ReNew the Earth Institute in Custer. The MREA promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration.
Rep. Shankland’s office hours will be held a week after the 24th Annual MREA Energy Fair, which is taking place this weekend. She highly recommends attending the MREA Energy Fair to learn more about clean energy and sustainable living!
