Assault– Authorities responded to a disturbance between a 46 year-old man and 43 year-old woman at a Custer residence at 1:42 AM. No arrests were made but the parties were separated.
Assault– Deputies were called to a residence in Almond in response to a verbal dispute between a 38 year-old man and a 73 year-old woman. The parties were separated by law enforcement at 11:08 AM.
Assault– A 31 year-old woman and a 33 year-old man were separated over a verbal altercation at a Custer residence at 10:05 AM.
Hitchhikers guide to getting police called– Someone reported suspicious individuals walking along Highway 66 at 3:04 AM. Three suspects, Amber N. Stieve, 24, Patrick H. Pierce, 28 and 24 year-old Rachael E. Obermeier were questioned by authorities and sent on their way.
Window v Bird– A 57 year-old man reported his garage window was likely broken by a bird at his residence on Sky Line Drive. No word on the bird.
Interfering with a ski show– Someone from the Central Wisconsin Water Ski Show called authorities in Mosinee to report there was a “problem” with a boat and people on the ramp. The people left the ramp and took off in the boat before deputies could arrive.
Out after curfew– Someone reported minors loitering outside at 3:12 AM near Cardinal and Bluebird Drives in Stevens Point.
July 8
Welfare Check- Someone reported a woman sitting in the middle of Hwy 54 near I-39 at 2:12 AM. The woman was a 57 year-old Yerington resident. No reports of injuries.
Late- night grave visitation– A suspicious person was reported in a cemetery on Highway 66 in Custer at 10:41 PM. The person was visiting the grave of a loved one.
Busted in the park after hours- Three 18 year-olds- Anthony C. Meverden, Iola, Haley May Gray, Waupaca and Kody Lee Kopchiniski of Rosholt, and 19 year-old Toni Marie Grawvunder, Iola, were found in Sunset Lake Park at 11:16 PM. Authorities told the group they were trespassing and had to leave.
