This week was a special event night at the track with the TUNDRA Series putting on a great show, as well as our local divisions.

Starting off our night was the Super Stock Division with Matt Raykowski (6) taking fast time.  After two heat races Matt Ciesielski (21) and Phil Malouf (32) take first in their respective heats. In the Feature the checkered flag flew for Jeff Nowak (79) over Brian Weinfurter (24), Brad Scholze (87) third, John Zuch (8) fourth and Malouf fifth, rounding out the top five.  In points top three are Brian Back with 327, Nowak 321 and Malouf 307.

In the Pure Stocks fast time went to Chad Weis (0), his first of the season, and after three heat races Jeff Gruber (6), Jay Potter (33) and Travis Volm (76) all earned wins.  In the feature it was another exciting race with cars side by side, very seldom are these cars single file. Volm fought to catch leader Carter Kauth (97) but as the checkered flag waved, Kauth became victorious with Volm second, Kevin Berg (17) third, fast timer Weis fourth and Cody Thompson (15) rounded out the top five.  Top three in points are Mark Kalata with 327, Volm at 396 and Brent Weiland 284.

Four Cylinder Stocks also ran tonight with Kelly Sankey (88) continuing to show his power by taking fast time for the fourth consecutive week. In the heat races, Sankey and George Seliger (06) both took wins. Sankey preformed a “clean sweep” by earning fast time, heat win and feature win. Rounding out the top five was Jeremy Kemnetz (5) second, Lucas Betro (1) third, Nikki Coulthurst (17) fourth and Dave Harvath (7) fifth.  Currently Sankey leads in points with 443, Kemnetz has 377 and Betro 327 third.

In the Cruisers, Wheelock /Kalata (73) take the win after recovering from a small crash over Kampert /Kampert (01) and Garlow/Lockhart (3) in the top three.  Wheelock/Kalata are also in the points lead with 122 over Garlow/Lockhart with 106.
