Two state leaders voted in favor of a National Security Agency program that gathered intelligence on Americans.
Democrat Congressman Ron Kind and Republican Paul Ryan both voted in favor of keeping the program Wednesday, which allows the NSA to continue collecting phone records and e-mails of American citizens.
The House voted 217-205 to keep the massive surveillance project.
Congressmen Ryan and Kind were the only Wisconsin members voting to keep the program.
