Walter F. Beadle, 77
Walter F. Beadle, 77, of the town of Plover, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.
He was born on April 2, 1936, in Stevens Point, to Jennie (Rogers) Beadle and the late Walter Beadle. On May 4, 1991, his marriage to Lucy Jurgella took place at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Stevens Point.
Walter was retired from Engle Construction of Waupaca, where he worked as a maintenance engineer and steel worker. His interests included reading and fishing. He was a very talented woodworker and artist, especially painting and drawing. He was also gifted in music, having played the saxophone and drums.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy of the town of Plover; mother, Jennie Beadle of Stevens Point; son, Brad (fiancée Terri Jonas) of Plover; daughters, Roxanne (Mike) Kauth, Brenda (Ron) Alexander and Debbie Beadle all of Stevens Point; son, Daniel (Jill) Beadle of De Pere; step-children, Chuck (Laura) Jurgella of Stevens Point, Michael (Becci) Jurgella of Plover, and Becky (Andy) Franz of Plover; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-grandchild.
In addition to his father, Walter was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover with Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass. Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Plover, is assisting the family with arrangements.
