Plover PD: Zero Tolerance for Driving in County R Work Zone

The Plover Police Department is reminding people of the closure of County Highway R between County Highway HH and Bluebird Drive for road construction.
“Road Closed” signs and barricades are posted there, however, vehicles are driving around the signs and through the area.
Some drivers have also moved the barricades as well as driven through ditches and across private fields. Officers have been and will continue to enforce the road closure and will have a zero tolerance citing anyone driving in the closed area in the amount of $213.10 and the loss of 3 driver’s license points.
There is also road construction on County Highway B at Hoover Avenue in which turn lanes have been blocked and “no left turn” signs have been placed.
