flagLawrence J. Repinski age 88 of Stevens Point, died Tuesday Oct. 29, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.  Lawrence was born Feb. 16, 1925 in Amherst, WI.  He is the son of the late John & Veronica (Glodowski) Repinski. 

He entered the US Army on Oct. 26, 1945 in Chicago, IL.  He served as a Private First Class and received the Victory medal.  He was honorably discharged on Dec. 15, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, IL.

His marriage to Elizabeth “Betty” Patoka took place on Sept. 27, 1947 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, she survives.  He was a truck driver and retired from Gross Common Carriers.  He is a member of St. Bronislava Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus council #1170.  He enjoyed horseshoes, bowling, golfing & taking walks.

Survivors include his wife Betty, three sons: James (Pat) Repinski of Neenah, Allen (Rita) Repinski of Plover and Jerry (Jodie) Repinski of MN.  Three daughters: Joan Engebretson, Diane (Jim) Jaworski & Mary Jo (Bill) Schultz all of Stevens Point.  9 grandchildren: Jeff, Sherry, Jennifer, Jackie, Angie, Heather, Chad, Jeremy & Maggie.  3 step grandchildren: Angie, Niles & Matt.  15 great grandchildren & 4 step great grandchildren.  One sister: Marion (Emmett) Polum of Stevens Point.  Two brothers: Clarence (Caroline) Repinski of Milwaukee and Leonard (Karen) Repinski of AZ.  Three sisters in law: Violete Repinski, Mary Ann Repinski both of Amherst and Marie Repinski of Stevens Point.

Preceded in death by 3 brothers: Carl, John & Ray.  1 sister: Rosalie, 1 granddaughter & 2 great grandsons.

Funeral Mass 10:30 am Monday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover.  Rev. Jeffery Burrill Officiating. Burial in the Parish cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of services Monday morning at the church.  For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
