Bicycle & Pedestrian Group Plans Open House

The Portage County Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee (B-Ped) is hosting an open house to share its draft plans for the county- wide network of pathways in both rural and urban areas.
The open house will be held at Lincoln Center, 1519 Water Street on Dec. 3 from 6:30-8:30 PM.
B-Ped is using grant funds to better improve bicycle and walking conditions with new facilities, programs and policies which promote bicycling and walking. The group could install water fountains and bathrooms in key areas where none currently exist.
County staff and consultants from Toole Design Group will be on hand to answer questions.
