Dreier Announces Bid for Second Term

Portage County Executive Patty Dreier has announced she will run for a second term for the county’s top administrative spot.
Dreier said achieving unified dispatch and completing a strategic planning framework for the county are two of her biggest accomplishments so far, but she still has big plans for the county’s future- plans she’ll expand upon in the coming weeks.
“All along, I have seen my role as ‘facilitator’ seeking creative solutions to our challenges with other county, community, and state leaders while ensuring fiscally responsible decisions that help us meet our community’s needs today and tomorrow,” Dreier said.
“Portage County citizens willing, I would be honored to serve for another four years as their county executive.”
Dreier is the second executive Portage County has elected to office. She preceded Mark Maslowski.
