John Thomas “JT” Golla, age 47, of Stevens Point, died November 17, 2013.

Survivors include his four beautiful children, Abigail, Luke, Isaiah Golla and Jonathon Gronski; his parents, Marchita and Daniel Polum; three brothers, Matt (Kathie), Mark and Tim Golla; five sisters, Michele (Jim) White, Monica (Peter) Thome, Stephanie (John) Haka, Anne (Ken) Raflik and Rose (Bill) Dickinson; nephews and nieces, Josh and Jason White, Jerry, Charlie and Sue Golla, Mark Golla Jr. and Crystal Strausberger, Nathan, Zac and Seth Thome, Jessica Heindl, Justin, Jarod and Bethany Hoerter, Hannah and Jordan Raflik, Jeremy, Linsey (Bachko), Katie, Sam, Lydia and Elijah Dickinson.  He is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and the mother of his children, Trina Liebl, as well as his lifelong friend, Eddie Tokarski.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Ambrose Golla; paternal and maternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

John was proud of his job with the TransCanada Pipeline as a natural gas technician.  He was a very hard working, simple man and enjoyed woodworking, a talent he inherited from his dad.  He enjoyed spending time in the woods with his brothers and kids.  As a family, he and the kids loved camping, bonfires and especially fishing and bow hunting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family for the education of his children.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bronislava Parish, 3200 Plover Road, Plover, on Monday, November 25, 2013.  There will be a visitation from 9:00 a.m. at the church until the Mass at 10:30 a.m.  The Msgr. Jeffrey Burrill will officiate and burial will be held in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Pisarski Funeral Homes & Cremation Center of Stevens Point and Plover assisted the family with arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
