Is Your Contractor a Blessing- Or a Scrooge?
City-Times Staff
City-Times Staff received a phone call this week from a Custer family at its wit’s end with their general contractor. The contractor, they claim, took over $40,000 for wood and other materials but did not complete work on their home.
They now face legal problems with subcontractors who went unpaid by the man they hired to complete their home renovations.
We want to know if your contractor is one you’re “thankful” for this Thanksgiving, or was you experience more like working with Ebenezer Scrooge?
Tell us your experiences with hiring private contractors- good, bad and ugly- for an upcoming investigative series we’re working on. Please send your stories to: [email protected]
