flagGregory Olszewski, age 75, of the Town of Stockton passed away December 1, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.  Greg endured a chronic illness for the past 4 years, and passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Greg will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 5, 2013 at St. Stephens Catholic Church.  Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate.  Burial with full military honors will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point. The American Legion Post #6 will do a ritual at 6:30 and the general rosary will be prayed at 7:00, both on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.  Visitation will also be held on Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

Greg was born January 20, 1938 in Stevens Point, the son of Adam and Martha (Lehman) Olszewski. He entered the United States Air Force on January 31, 1955 in Milwaukee. After his honorable discharge he returned to the area. He married Antoinette Ksionsk on May 10, 1958 at St. Peters Catholic Church.  Greg started his own construction business in 1960, after 731 homes and several commercial businesses he retired.  As a Husband, Dad, and Grandfather, Greg loved being with his family and grilling out with them.  He enjoyed fishing on Pike Lake and golfing 18 holes on the weekends. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan and never missed a game.  Greg worked from dawn to sunset, but enjoyed traveling, going out to dinner, bowling, and visiting the casino every now and then.

Greg is survived by his wife Antionette, and their 3 daughters: Karen (Jack) Hansen, Green Bay; Sandra (Neal) Maslowski, Stevens Point; Julie Kieliszewski, Stevens Point.  5 grandchildren: Brooke (Peter) Ananiadis, Ashley (Stephen) Sensenbrenner, Jennifer (Rich) Revolinsky, Alex Kieliszewski, Stephanie Besiada.  5 great grandchildren: Maria, Jonathon, Alexis, and Christopher Ananiadis, and Ian Sensenbrenner. One brother: Clarence (Eleanor) Olszewski, Stevens Point and one sister Margaret Olszewski, Stevens Point.   He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter Alicia,one great grandson Chace, 3 brothers, and one sister.
