On the morning of December 3, 2013 Laurie A. Feltz- Mayek, 50, was taken home to heaven after a courageous fight with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Laurie will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday December 6, 2013 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Lindner
will officiate. Friends and family will gather to share memories form 3:00 until the time of services the church.

Laurie was born on Feb. 11, 1963 in Stevens Point. She graduated from Auburndale High School in 1981. She was a homemaker who made her children the center of her life. Laurie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the type of person that always put others before herself.  Laurie enjoyed volunteering at her church and at her children’s school. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her flowers as well as her animals. .

Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Mayek and her nine children; Tara (Justen) Feltz, Tyler Feltz, Tamara (Alex) Feltz, Tiffany Feltz-Mayek, Tabitha Feltz-Mayek, Trevor Feltz-Mayek, Tatum Feltz-Mayek, Trandon Feltz- Mayek, and Tess Feltz-Mayek. Two grandchildren Aiyana & Caiden and another grandchild on the way. Her dad Leonard Gotz.  Thirteen siblings; Marty (Margie) Feltz, Clara (Stash) Feltz, Patricia (Albin)

Rucinski, Ernie (Tina) Feltz, Elaine (Bill) Kramer, Eugene (Heidi) Feltz, Marlene (Bill) Getzloff, Randy Feltz, Leonard Feltz, Dennis (Mary) Feltz, Jackie (Rick) Sevcik, Lisa (Perry) Leibl, Rodney (Dawn) Feltz . Also many nieces and nephews.

Welcoming their loved one home are her mother Clara Gotz, Father Martin Feltz Sr., son Travis Feltz, step-son Joseph Mayek, brother Myron Feltz, and sister Carol Maslowski.
