Mary Ann Brown, 84, of Plover died early Wednesday morning, December 4, 2013 at Ministry-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Mary Ann was born January 31, 1930 in Marathon County. She was the daughter of the late Alois and Minnie (Skierka) Zoromski. She attended local schools in Stevens Point. Her marriage to Wayne D. Brown took place on August 2, 1947 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Her husband preceded her in death on May 26, 1998.

Mary Ann was the Town Clerk for a number of years for Amherst Junction, and was also an Independent Tax preparer until her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed painting landscapes and the outdoors. She also loved playing cards, knitting and crocheting. Her most precious time was being able to be with her family.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include two daughters; Linda (Robert) Bablitch of La Crosse, WI and Susan (Randy) Sadogierski of Stevens Point. One son Larry (Sharon) Brown of Terre Haute, IN. Five grandchildren Heather, Kim, Kelly, Casey and Jamie, and four great grandchildren Carrington, Heidi, Ava and Ashton. She is further survived by four brothers; Red, Eddie, Jim and Bob Zoromski, and two sisters Barb King and Betty Maeder. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne and one sister Theresa.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Rd, Plover. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home until the time for services. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
