Robert “Bob” E. Peskie, 89, of Stevens Point, died Monday December 9, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital. Robert resided at Harmony Assisted Living Facility.  Robert was born on April 9, 1924, in Mill Creek. He was the son of the late Peter & Agnes (Kostuch) Peskie.

He attended local schools. His marriage to Elizabeth “Betty” Kosloski took place on May 11, 1946, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Junction City, after the marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. His wife Betty died on July 4, 1996.

Robert was employed for the Copps Corporation for 36 years retiring in 1986.He was a member of the Moose Family Center #1572. He enjoyed woodworking, helping with family remodeling projects, camping, playing cards, going to the casinos and visiting with family and friends.  Robert did voluntary work for the Moose and St. Joseph Parish.  Bob received a Moose Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathleen (Ed) Lukaszewicz of Stevens Point. Sons, Jim (Mary Ann) Peskie of Marshfield, Rick (Kim) Peskie of Stevens Point, Michael (Jeanne) Peskie of Freedom, Alan (Vicki) Peskie of Junction City and Ron(Lisa) Peskie of Stevens Point. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9       great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff on the 5th floor at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital for all their loving care and support.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday December 13, 2013, at 10:30a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Moose ritual at 6:30p.m. and the parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Robert’s name will be established at a later date.
