Crimestoppers: Suspects Sought in Amherst Tavern Burglary

The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information relating to a burglary at an Amherst tavern.
Thieves broke into Club Orlow, 112 Main Street in the Village of Amherst, sometime during the night of December 5. The intruders forced open the rear door to the business and made off with $850 in cash, mostly in “older- style $5 bills”, according to a statement for the Sheriff’s Office. The statement also said the thieves caused about $500 in damage to the business.
