December 13

Checkbook Won’t Balance: A 51- year old woman called police to report she was “having concerns” with her personal finances.

Unwelcome Company: A 58- year old woman called police to report an unwanted intoxicated 32- year old woman in her home at 10:53 AM. The drunk woman was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital by police.

Domestic Disturbance: Police responded to a report of a fight at an Old Wausau Rd. residence at 1:50 PM. The fight reportedly broke out when a 23- year old man would not leave the home as requested. No injuries or damage was reported.

Night Hunting? Police and DNR officials were called to investigate when a 36- year old man reported a deer was shot at 10:48 PM along Brilowski Road. The investigation continues.

December 14

Busted for Pot: Jacob P. Thomas Shirley, 18, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana (5 grams or less). Shirely was cited during a traffic stop for speeding on I-39 near Plainfield at 11:56 PM after a K-9 unit was requested to detect the drugs.

Slide-In: A 39- year old woman was cited after her vehicle slid-in along I-38 when she was driving too fast for road conditions at 9:20 AM.

Inattentive Driving: A 42- year old man called police to report inattentive driving by Rebecca Rae Peplinski, 39, near Hwy 54 and Moodie Drive in Plover. Peplinski received a citation at 12:32 PM.

Blowing a Stop Sign: 49- year old Julie Tikalski, 49, was warned for driving too fast for conditions and failure to stop at a stop sign near Bluebird Dr. and Porter Road at 10:20 PM.

December 15

OWI: Monique M. Schweich, 22, was cited for operating while under the influence and operating w/ a positive alcohol content, first offense, during a traffic stop at Clark & Water Streets at 1:30 AM. Schweich was driving with a 23- year old male passenger.

Boat in a Ditch: Authorities responded to a report of a boat found in a ditch at Birch Drive and Taft Avenue in Stevens Point at 7:35 AM. Circumstances surrounding the event were not made available.

Light Pole Fatality: Someone reported a light pole had been struck by a vehicle at 1540 North Torun Rd. at 8:11 AM. Value of damage is unknown but no injuries were reported.

Two Car Crash: Two drivers, 65- year old Gary Sannes and 52- year old Richard A. Henrikson, were involved in a car crash at 11:38 AM on Otto Rd. in Amherst. No injuries were reported but Sannes was cited for not wearing a seatbelt and driving too fast for conditions.

Vehicle in Ditch: 33- year old Molly M. Dombrowski was cited for failure to keep her vehicle under control after her vehicle wound up in a ditch on Ward Rd. in Amherst. No injuries were reported.
