Two Car Accident in Plover Yields No Injuries
By Donnelly Clare
A two- car accident on Monday caused no accidents or injuries, but the vehicles came to a stop nearly one mile apart.
Plover Police and Metro EMS and fire crews responded to two different locations- one on Porter Road, another on Post Road- to assist two drivers following the crash. Plover Police Sgt. Paul Bushmaker said one driver drove through a stop sign just before crashing into a second car.
The accident, according to Bushmaker, was the result of a medical condition the driver was suffering but he did not know the nature of that condition.
“The crash actually happened on Porter and Post, one mile to the east, but this is where the car ended up,” Bushmaker said.
He added the striking vehicle continued down Porter Road and on to Post after the accident and eventually the driver stopped due to the medical condition. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and neither was speeding or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he said.
Bushmaker said neither driver was injured in the crash and no other damage was reported.
“The cars might look a little worse than was happened. It appears that everybody’s going to be okay.”
