Wind Chill Advisory Expired, Temps Still Dangerous
City-Times Staff
A wind chill advisory from the National Weather Service expired Monday at noon, but the winter weather is still a danger to residents in Central Wisconsin.
Bitterly cold temps are expected to dominate the week, with wind chills from 15-30 below zero expected through Sunday. According to the NWS, up to an inch of snow accumulation is expected late this afternoon, causing slick roadways after a warmer weekend weather melted some of the snow in the area.
More snow is expected on New Year’s Day, with overnight lows on Wednesday expected to hit 25-35 below zero.
