Monica (Mona) U. Dieteman of Stevens Point died Wednesday January 1, 2014 at age 93 years.
Services will be Saturday January 4, 2014 at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point with visitation from 9:30 until the 11:30 service. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Mona was born October 22, 1920 in Stevens, the oldest child of Jacob and Theresa (Strykowski) Shuda. She attended Stevens Point schools. After her marriage to Joseph Dieteman they moved to Minnesota where she did secretarial work at Chase, Brass & Copper. Upon retirement Mona and Joe returned to Stevens Point.
Mona’s pastimes included ceramics, sewing, knitting, baking, and visiting.
Mona is survived by her sister Marlene and family. Also by sister-in-law Ruth, nieces and nephews. Additional survivors include stepchildren and their families. Mona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Dorothy and Grace, brother DeLoyd, and brothers in law Bill, Connie, and Henry.
In lieu of flowers and in Mona’s honor treat another to a dinner, that was one way Mona spread kindness.
