Kids, Teachers Get Monday Off: Weather

As of 2:35 PM Friday afternoon, all public and parochial K-12 schools have been cancelled on Monday, Jan. 6.
The cancellation comes in the face of extreme weather expected to hit the area from Sunday- Wednesday, with wind chills dropping outside temps to around 50 below zero.
So far, no decision has been made about whether school will resume Tuesday, Jan. 7, but that announcement will come by 2 PM on Monday.
