December 30

Mailbox Fatality: A 60 year-old man called authorities to report his mailbox had been damaged at his residence on Hwy. J in Custer at 5:52 PM. Value of damage was not reported.

Lost Fishin’ Gear: A 27 year-old Stevens Point man reported he had lost fishing tackle valued at over $1,000 somewhere between County Hwy. Y and Division Street.

Busted for Pot: Dustin B. Davis, 25 and 24 year-old Emily E. Cyrs, both of Stevens Point, were arrested for possession of THC and possession of paraphernalia. Cyrs was also busted for operating after revocation. The duo was caught with over 7 grams of marijuana, glass smoking pips, nearly $3,000 in cash and a prescription bottle with an unidentified clear liquid. Their cell phones were also confiscated for investigation. The two were busted during a traffic stop on Highway 10 at 1:50 AM.

December 31

Harassment: A 47 year-old man called police to report he’d been threatened by a 40 year-old man in Joe Street at 9:44 AM.

January 2

Assault/Robbery: A 38 year-old woman called to report being assaulted and robbed by a 37 year-old man at her home on North Torun Road at 3:21 PM. The woman’s claims were unfounded, though, and she received a warning from deputies.

Property Crime: A 38 year-old woman reported someone stole the license plates from her vehicle on Main St. in Rosholt at 6:51 PM. Deputies determined the woman’s mental state was confused and were unable to determine if any theft had taken place.

January 3

Mysterious Jeep: Someone reported a suspicious jeep was driving around the Doollittle Drive residential area and shining its headlights into the homes at 4:35 AM.
