Victoria “Vicky” E. Biadasz, 91

Victoria “Vicky” E. Biadasz, 91, of Amherst, died Friday January 3, 2014, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.  Victoria was born on December 17, 1922, in Stevens Point.         

She was the daughter of the late Joseph & Agnes (Kontney) Meshak. She attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Grade School. Her marriage to Jacob Biadasz took place on October 25, 1941, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Her husband Jacob died on December 10, 2006.

Victoria worked for over 10 years at Del Monte, 25 years at Don Smith Sales, and worked alongside her husband on the family Homestead in Amherst.

She was a member of St. Mary’s of Mount Carmel Rosary Society She enjoyed flowers, birds, watching the Green Bay Packers, listening to polka music, going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Norman (Marge) and Robert (Diane) both of Amherst. Daughter, Mary (Tom) Wierzba of Rosholt. Brother, Raymond Meshak of Plover and Sister, Angeline (Emil) Wojtalewicz of Stevens Point.

Also survived by 10 grandchildren, David, Chuck, Bill, Suzie, Kenneth, Karin, Amy, Lisa, Mike and Megan.  18 great-grandchildren, Joel, Tyler, Phillip, Katelyn, Lindsay, Everett, Bennett, Hewitt, Jacob, Tyler, Natalie, Cody, Jaclynn, Samantha, Colton, McKenna, Thomas “TJ” and Alex.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Kevin and one brother, Barney.

The family would like to thank the staff on the 8th floor Oncology Department at St. Joseph Hospital, the nurses and doctors at the House of Dove for their wonderful care and loving support of our mother and grandmother.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday January 10, 2014 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center 2911 Plover Road Plover and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. St. Mary’s rosary society will combine with the parish rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Victoria’s name will be established at a later date.
