Jeffrey “Jeff” G. Moscinski, age 51 of Stevens Point, passed away surrounded by family on Wed. Jan. 8, 2014 at his home after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.  He was under the care of his family and Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.  He was born Feb. 22, 1962 in Stevens Point.  He is the son of the late Edwin & Genevieve (Yach) Moscinski.  Jeff graduated from SPASH in 1980 and also attended the UWSP.  His marriage to Nadine Hopkins took place on March 24, 1984 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Buena Vista, she survives.

He was employed at New Page for 26 years retiring in 2013.  Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the EAA in Oshkosh, making specialty Polish foods, reading, racing, painting with his dad, coaching his son in hockey & soccer and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Nadine, one daughter: Nichole (Peter) Dusche of Nashville, TN.  One son Derek Moscinski of Plover, three granddaughters: Cora, Lillianna & Giavonna.  One brother: Gary Moscinski of Thorton, CO two sisters: Chris (Dennis) Ceplina & Mary Jean Moscinski both of Stevens Point.  Preceded in death by one son Scott.

Funeral Mass 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church in Almond.  Rev. James Trempe officiating.  Burial in the St. Martin Cemetery in Town of Buena Vista.  Visitation from 4 to 8 pm Monday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home at 2911 Plover Road, Plover, and from 9:30 am until the time of services Tuesday morning at the Church.  A general rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Monday eve.
