Private Pesticide Applicator Training Classes Offered

Private pesticide applicator training classes will once again be offered by Portage County UW-Extension.
Anyone who intends to purchase, mix, load, apply or direct the use of restricted use pesticides as a private applicator must be certified. Training sessions are scheduled for Fridays, February 21 and March 7, 2014 and the Courthouse Annex Building, Rooms 1 and 2, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point. Registration is at 8:30 AM with class from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. Please call 715-346-1316 to pre-register.
Training manuals must be purchased at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled session and are available at Portage County UW-Extension, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point. The registration fee is $35.00 which includes the training manual, class materials and lunch.
