Michael J. Worzalla, age 42, of Stevens Point, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at home.

Michael was born November 19, 1971 to the late John “Whitey” & Mary “Kay” (Kabat) Worzalla in Stevens Point, WI. He attended the local schools and graduated from SPASH in 1990.  Michael continued his education at Mid-State Technical College and graduated with a degree in Administration & Personnel in 1994.

He married Ann Krutza on June 18, 1994 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They were married for 14 years and he later married Bridgette Price on October 1, 2011. They later separated.

Michael worked various jobs before working the past 11 years as an Administrative Clerk at G & S Woodworking.

Michael will be remembered for his caring and genuine nature. He was a witty guy who always found ways to make others laugh. Michael was an avid WI sports fan, a history fanatic, who loved spending time with family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching scary movies, playing cards & video games, especially Zelda. He was also an active member of AA.

Survivors include his daughter, Aliyah Worzalla of Weston; sisters, Heidi (Eric) Hirzy of Stevens Point, and Susan (Clint) Pfeil of Oconomowoc; nieces, Maggie, Liz, & Steph Hirzy; nephew, Clint Pfeil Jr., & several Aunts & Uncles.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating.  A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
