January 10

My Boyfriend’s Back: A 25 year-old woman called police to report her 40 year-old boyfriend had caused damage to her trailer home on Torun Road at 5:36 AM.

Busted for No License: Freddy Hernandez Melgarejo, 38, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license when police assisted him during a slide-in on I-39 at 5:55 PM.

Threats: Authorities were called to a Jordan Rd. home after an argument between a landlord and tenant escalated to threats at 8:54 PM. No citations were given.

Hit & Run: Someone reported a vehicle struck the guard rail near the Canadian National Bridge at Cty. Tk KK & School Road in Amherst. Value of damage was not reported.

January 11

Ignoring a School Bus: A 25 year-old man was warned for passing a stopped school bus with its lights on at 4:50 PM on County HH in Plover.

January 12

Threatening Texts: A 52 year-old woman in Amherst reported receiving harassing and threatening text messages while at her home on Buelow Rd. at 9:30 AM.

Snowmobile Trail Bandits: Three snowmobile drivers, Bronson Dee Anderson, 25, Cody J. Franck, 25 and 26 year-old Thomas R. Hucke, caused damage a closed trail in Amherst at 3:27 PM. The trio were cited for their actions, and the extent of the damage is unknown.

Suspicious Semi: A 32 year-old woman reported a running semi parked near her Stoney Hill Road home in Rosholt at 9:29 PM. She reported the cab lights were on and the doors to the truck were open, but was unable to locate the driver. No further information is available.

Uncontrollable Child: Authorities responded to a 22 year-old woman’s call for help with an uncontrollable child on Main St. in Amherst at 7:29 PM.
