One Injured in Hwy 54 Two- Semi Crash

One person has been injured following a crash between two trucks on Hwy 54 Friday morning, an accident that closed down the road for about two hours.
Portage CO. Sherriff’s deputies say a southbound semi exited from I-39 and made a left turn in front of an eastbound semi. The two trucks collided in the intersection and wound up on the overpass, blocking both lanes.
The Wisconsin State Patrol, Plover Fire Department, Portage County Ambulance Service, Portage Co. Highway Department and Sheriff’s Office all responded.
One driver suffered minor injuries, who was treated and release from St. Michael’s Hospital.
