January 17

Trespassing: Authorities were calls to a Main St. home in Amherst to investigate complaints of snowmobiles driving on private property at 8:56 AM.

Caller Reports Defective Exhaust: Someone called police to report a 19 year-old driver had a loud exhaust while driving near County B and Twin Towers Road in Plover at 5:52 PM.

Threats & Harassment: A 26 year-old man called police at 5:12 PM to report an argument between a 57 year-old man and 62 year-old woman had escalated to a threatening nature at a Hayes Ave. residence in Plover.

Ex-Husband Can’t Move On: A 41 year-old woman called police at 6:41 PM to report her 51 year-old ex-husband had been “following her all day”. The woman was unharmed but said she felt threatened. No further problems were reported.

Threatening Texts: Someone reports receiving multiple threatening texts from multiple suspects at 9:13 PM at an Oakland Court residence in Stevens Point. Police were trying to contact the suspects to issues warnings.

January 18

You Mean Passengers Can’t Drink in the Car? A 23 year-old Plover man was cited for having an open intoxicant in a vehicle driven by his 25 year-old friend. Police made the discovery after the driver, who was not drinking, crashed his vehicle near Hwy 54 and Coolidge Avenue in Plover at 2:26 AM.

Defective Headlight: A 46 year-old man was warned for a defective headlight while driving near Algoma and Hwy 10 at 11:48 PM.

Defective Headlight: At 11:41 PM, officers issues a warning to a 20 year-old man for driving with a busted headlight near Hwy 10 and Oaklane Court.

Defective Headlight: A 57 year-old man was warned for having a broken headlight at 11:51 PM near Hwy 54 and Monroe Avenue.

Defective Trailer Lights: A 25 year-old man was warned for having inoperative trailer lights near Hwy 54 and Kennedy at 11:50 PM.

Defective Headlights: A 23 year-old man was warned for having a broken headlight and defective muffler at 11:56 PM.

January 19

Verbal Disagreement: Authorities were called to a Skyline Drive home to assist with a husband and wife disagreement at 12:32 AM. No further information was reported.

Wrong-Way Driver: A 63 year-old woman was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road near Hwy 10 and Skyline Road at 5:16 AM.
