After 12 Years, Passport to Paradise Still Supports Area Youth

Are you looking for something fun to do this Friday night or for a way to support the youth of Portage County?
The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County and the Stevens Point Area YMCA are teaming up along with the support of community businesses including major sponsor, Sentry Insurance, for the 12th consecutive year to host Passport to Paradise – Havana Nights. The event is this Friday, January 24 from 7-10:30 PM at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point. Passport to Paradise “Havana Nights” offers an exciting evening of delicious Cuban cuisine, dancing, and the live, sultry tunes of the band MadiSalsa. The hors d’oeuvre-style buffet offers a diverse selection of tasty cuisine including Cuban-style beef strip loin with papaya relish and islander and coconut shrimp with fresh ginger marmalade, and much more.
Attendees will have a chance to bid on fabulous silent auction items and are automatically entered into a raffle to win a $500 cash prize. All proceeds benefit the youth programs of the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County and the Stevens Point Area YMCA.
