January 20

Domestic Battery: A 30 year-old man was arrested from a Village Lane residence in Plover at 1:05 PM after authorities were notified of a domestic disturbance. Charges against the man have been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.

Light Pole Fatality: A 43 year-old Tampa, Florida man is under suspicion of hit and run when a semi he was driving hit a light pole at Plover Express Mart, 2621 Plover Rd., at 5:51 PM.

January 21

Harassment: A 20 year-old woman reported being harassed and threatened by a 41 year-old from at a Hawthorne Ave. residence in Plover at 9:42 PM.

Theft: Authorities were notified someone sole prescription medicine from the mailbox of a 35 year-old man on West River Drive at 11:28 AM.

Fleet Farm Thief: A 47 year-old women from Nekoosa was cited with theft after she tried taking clothing, toys, a pair of sunglasses and air fresheners from Fleet Farm in Stevens Point at 1:31 AM.

Cigarettes Stolen: A 54 year- old woman from Big Falls told police someone stole three packs of cigarettes from her parked vehicle on Whiting Avenue at 3 PM.

January 22

Drunk Driving Near a School Bus: A 42 year-old woman was cited for OWI, first offense, after a school bus driver reported her reckless and speeding driving on Illinois Avenue at 12:48 AM. The woman was found to have a .15 blood alcohol content.

Failure to Control Vehicle: A 25 year-old woman was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle after crashing her car need Hwy 10 West and Court Trunk G at 1:04 PM. No injuries were reported.
