Advanced Disposal Runs One Day Behind
Customers who use Advanced Disposal will for the second time this month have garage collected one day late.
According to Market Manager Dale Marth, the Marshfield- based company closed its offices and transfer station on Monday due to the second round of bitter arctic temperatures since the New Year. The delay is for the safety of truck drivers, Marth said.
“Advanced Disposal routes for this week will once again be delayed by one day due to the weather,” Marth said in a statement. “Our Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, etc. for the remainder of the week. At this time we do not have any plans to cancel our Tuesday routes, but given the forecast, that is a possibility.”
Advanced Disposal customers are asked to use caution when putting out their garbage and recyclables to ensure items don’t blow away and are not in the path of snow removal vehicles.
At 4 AM Tuesday, no other companies or municipalities have announced a delay in garbage pickup.
