Boys & Girls Club Open Monday, Tuesday
For the City-Times
Are you wondering where to send your children when the school is closed for a Snow Day? Well stop wondering and send them over to the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County!
When the schools have Snow Days, the Boys & Girls Club will have two sites open. Our Plover location (2401 Cedar Drive, Plover, WI) is open from 9am-5pm and our Teen Center (1007 Ellis Street) and the Rec Center or gym next to PJ Jacobs (2442 Sims Avenue) are open from 12pm-5pm. Join us for some fun programming including Keystone & Torch Leadership programs, homework centers & homework help, LEAP reading program, fine arts program, healthy habits program, and so much more.
If you don’t have a membership, that is not a problem. Stop by the Plover site or Teen Center to pick up an application today. Membership for each child is only $10 for an entire year, so don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to let your kids just be kids.
The Boys & Girls Club Movement is a nation-wide affiliation of local autonomous organizations that are working to help girls and boys of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders in the community. The Boys & Girls Club inspires and enables kids, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential.
