Elizabeth E. Trzinski, age 101

Elizabeth E. Trzinski, age 101, passed away on Thursday February 13, 2014, with her family at her side. She was born on September 25, 1912, to the late Matthew and Rose (Stelmachowski) Moscinski. She was united in marriage to Felix Trzinski at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Junction City on November 22, 1932. Felix preceded her in death on December 22, 1982.
Besides taking care of her family, Elizabeth was employed by Worth Fly Company, Blue Top Restaurant and retired from the dietary department of St. Michael’s Hospital.
She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society Rose #7. She enjoyed attending polka Masses and church picnics, listening and dancing to polka music, making quilts, gardening, cooking and canning, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by her children: Clare Herman, Loretta Cisewski, Bernie and Irv Derezinski, Allen and Betty Trzinski, Kathy Kowalski, Grace and Bob Kulis, Vicky and Dennis Zimmerman. Also survived by son-in-law, Jim Mancheski and daughter-in-law, Donna Trzinski, 40 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson, 62 great grandchildren, 12 step-great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren. Her sister Valeria Vermillion and sister-in-laws, Gen Moscinski and Verona Trzinski.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Mancheski, her son Joseph, her brothers, Phillip, Steven, William, Florian, Edwin; her sisters, Tillie, Harriet, Margaret, Alice, Irene, Joan and Bernice, two great grandsons and her son-in-laws, Arthur Kowalski, Leonard Cisewski, Ray Cisewski and Eugene Herman.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday February 18, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating and Deacon Jim Trzinski will be the homilist. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Tuesday from 9:30am until 10:15am AT THE FUNERAL HOME. St. Peter Rosary society will combine with the parish rosary at 7:00pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Elizabeth’s name will be established at a later date.
