Food Swings: Homemade Pizza Pockets

Homemade pizza pockets have been around for decades, but this is my favorite- and simplest- recipe:
You will need:

1 can of Pillsbury biscuits (10 biscuits)

10 tablespoons pizza sauce

15 tablespoons shredded or cubed mozzarella cheese

10-15 tablespoons of your favorite pizza toppings

Dusting flour

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Using a floured rolling pin, roll each biscuit thin. Place 1 tablespoon pizza sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese (or one cube of cheese) and 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons toppings on each.

The easiest way to seal the biscuits is to fold it like a taco and pinch the edges shut (‘glue’ edges together with a bit of water if you need it).

Place pizza pockets on a greased or parchment- lined pan. Put them in the oven and lower the heat to 350 degrees. Bake 13-16 minutes or until lightly browned.

Serve warm.
