This elegant event benefits the youth programs of the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County and features over 100 varieties of imported wines from around the world, more than a dozen specialty cheeses from Wisconsin’s very best cheese producers, hand-crafted local beers, delicious desserts, a raffle, a lavish silent auction, and a special bourbon tasting this year to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Every year over 100 sponsors and auction donors from around the community contribute to the great success of this fundraising event. So join us for a night of fun and socializing to support a great cause!
In its 10th year anniversary, the Portage County Taste of Wine & Cheese has continued to be the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County’s largest fundraising event. Last year it raised over $80,000 and attracted over 700 community members to support the organization’s daily operations. “The continued success of this event is critical to us, as it allows the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County to offer fun programs and mentorship opportunities that truly improve the lives of the hundreds of youth we serve daily throughout Portage County.” says Brittany Melby, Director of Development and Marketing.

Tickets are $60 per adult or $65 at the door and can be purchased now online at www.bgclubpc.org and will be available soon at Trig’s Grocery Store. Today the Boys & Girls Club serves 1200-1500 youth per year, with 7 site locations scattered across Portage County. For only $10 per year, any child can attend the Boys & Girls Club after school and all day during the summer months.
