NEW: Point Declares Snow Emergency

The City of Stevens Point has declared a snow emergency from 6 PM Monday through 6 AM Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The declaration means no cars may be parked, stop or left standing on any part of a city street. Cars will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
As of 2:40 PM, no snow emergencies have been issues for surrounding areas within Portage County.
