Cecelia (Ceil) Walenski, age 95, of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday morning February 18, 2014 at St. Michaels Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ceil will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday February 22, 2014 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis
Stanchik will officiate.   Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.  Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 4:00
– 8:00 PM on Friday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.  A General Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM at the funeral chapel.
Visitation will also be held from 9:30 – 10:15 AM on Saturday at the church.

Ceil was born in Wakefield, Michigan on November 20, 1918. She was the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Kujawa) Borski.  As a child she moved to the Junction City area. She attended school there.

She married Bernard Thrun on October 18, 1937.  He died in March of 1952.  Ceil married Alois Walenski in October of 1952, he died in
October of 1987. She worked at St. Michael s Hospital for approximately 15 years in the cleaning services.  She was a member of St Stanislaus
Church and Rosary Society.  She did volunteer work at St. Stanislaus &  Lincoln Center after her retirement.  She was active in Senior
Bowling & Golf.  She also enjoyed watching her granddaughters playin their high school softball & basketball games.

Cecelia is survived by five daughters and one son; Jerome Thrun, Birnamwood; Margaret (Jacob) Ceplina, Wisconsin Rapids; Darlene
(Lawrence) Scipior, Stevens Point; Nancy Thrun, Stevens Point; Patricia Radomski, Boise, Idaho; and Rosemary Walenski, Stevens Point. She is
also survived by one sister, Isabelle Blakley, Racine. She has 12 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons. She
was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two daughters, four grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters.
