Thursday’s impending winter storm is now expected to bring 2-4 inches of heavy, wet snow to the Stevens Point Area, less than the predicted 3-5 inches.
The National Weather Service says the entire area is still under a winter weather advisory, with an increase in west winds and gusts up to 45 mph.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from noon Thursday through 6 AM on Friday.
