Albert C. Bronk, age 76 of Rosholt, passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 at House of Dove Hospice in Marshfield, from complications of dementia.

A Mass of Christan Burial for Albert will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Rev. Greg Michaud will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 9:30 – 10:45 AM at the church before Mass on Tuesday. Shuda Funeral Services is assisting the family.

Albert was born April 19, 1937 in Portage County, the son of Theodore and Verna (Betker) Bronk. He graduated from Sacred Heart School and continued his education at the Stevens Point Technical School. Albert married Joann Ksioszk on May 13, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The couple purchased his family’s farm in 1961, and ran the farm until retirement in 2003. Albert enjoyed driving tractor, hunting, fishing, and was a avid Brewers and Packer fan.

He is survived by his wife Joann and their two sons: Lester (fiance’ Lisa Gullikson), Custer and Kurt, Rosholt. 3 sister: Lorretta Funge, CA; Dorothy (Leonard) Kizewski, Milwaukee; Cecelia Hagan, NC. One brother: Leonard Bronk, Stevens Point. 3 grandchildren: Kimberly Bronk, Lisa Nikolia, Brianna Gullikson. 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Lester and Frank. One sister: Theresa. One sister-in-law: Mary Bronk; 2 brother-in-laws: James Funge and George Hagen. One daughter-in-law: Debra Bronk.
