Temple to Host World Day of Prayer Event

Temple Beth Israel Synagogue Museum is hosting a World Day of Prayer event.
The museum, located at 1475 Water Street, will open its doors to women of all faiths on Friday, March 7, at 1:30 PM.
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who gather each year on the first Friday in March to observe a common day of prayer.
This year the women of Egypt invite us into a time of worship with the words of the prophet Isaiah: “I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”
The guest speaker is Terry Arnold, a retired diplomat who has served in Egypt.
