SPARTA to Hold Book Sale This Week

The Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers’ Association (SPARTA) has announced its March book sale, with proceeds to go to various scholarships and grants in the community.
The sale is held 4-8 PM on Wednesday, 9 AM- 8 PM Thursday and Friday, and 9 AM- 1 PM Saturday at the former Jackson School, 1900 W. Zinda Drive.
The sale will include more than 10,000 books as well as music, movies and magazines. Books for sale include an expanded collection of Westerns, science fiction, sports and woodworking/remodeling/car repair books. The children’s section also has been restocked with paperback books priced at 25 cents and hardcover books at 50 cents.
Books are greater value, along with DVD, CD and book sets, will also be available in The Collector’s Room.
