Help Wanted: City Seeks Municipal Court Judge
The City of Stevens Point is looking for a judge to preside over the new joint Stevens Point/Plover Municipal Court.
The position is part-time and paid $1,000 per month and could include regular daytime hours as well as evening hours based on schedules set in cooperation with the new judge and the Municipal Court Oversight Committee.
Applicants must respond by noon on Monday, March 24, 2014.
MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE
The Village of Plover and the City of Stevens Point are accepting applications for municipal court judge per Wisconsin Statutes: Chapter 755 & 800. Applicants shall reside within the City of Stevens Point or the Village of Plover and be an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin. A cover letter and resume must be submitted by noon on Monday, March 24, 2014 to the Chairperson of the Joint Municipal Court Oversight Committee at the address below:

The Joint Municipal Court Oversight Committee shall forward their recommendation for confirmation to the Village of Plover Board and City of Stevens Point Common Council no later than April 2 2014.
