Letter: Dreier Makes Good County Executive
To the Editor-
I urge those who live in Portage County to keep Patty Dreier as our County Executive.
There are many good reasons, but the two that jump out for me are 1) she has been a very successful Executive through four of our most challenging years in recent history, and 2) she has a good balance of views on environment and careful development.
I have known Patty for 25 years, and have seen her progress through a range of experiences leading up to her four years as Portage County Executive. I am not surprised at her success in that demanding position, nor can I think of a better qualification for the job than the success she has already demonstrated in it.
Being a good administrator requires energy, imagination, flexibility, intelligence, and an open mind, all traits Patty has repeatedly demonstrated. Let’s continue to make Portage County a great place to live, work, and play. Vote for Patty Dreier on April 1.
